Frequently Asked Questions

General

How do I get started?

Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions. Most features are accessible from the main menu or toolbar.

Is my data stored on your servers?

No. All your data stays on your device. We do not upload, collect, or store any of your content on external servers.

Does the app require an internet connection?

No. The app works fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for optional features like sharing or exporting.

Is the app free?

Please check the App Store listing for current pricing and available in-app purchases.

Files & Data

Where are my files stored?

Files are stored locally on your device. If you use iCloud, files in your iCloud Drive folders will sync across your devices automatically through iOS.

How do I back up my data?

Your files are regular files on your device. They are included in your standard iCloud or iTunes/Finder backups. You can also export files at any time using the share or export features.

Can I access files from other apps?

Yes. You can open files from the Files app, other apps via the share sheet, or by using the "Open File" option within the app.

I accidentally deleted a file. Can I recover it?

The app does not have a built-in trash. Once deleted, files are removed from your device. We recommend using iCloud Drive, which keeps recently deleted files for 30 days.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing or not responding.

  1. Force quit the app and reopen it.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app and iOS.
  4. If the issue persists, contact us with details about what you were doing when it happened.

A feature isn't working as expected.

Please update to the latest version from the App Store. If the issue continues, contact us with a description of the problem, your device model, and iOS version.

The app is using too much storage.

Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [App Name] to see storage usage. Large files or cached data may be the cause. You can remove unused files from within the app.
